Job Title: Oracle Fusion RTR Solution Architect

    Role Overview 

    The Oracle Fusion RTR (Record To Report) Solution Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving enterprise financial solutions within the Oracle Fusion ERP ecosystem. This role focuses primarily on RecordtoReport (R2R) and AccountingtoReporting (A2R) processes, supporting our Americas Installation business. 

    The architect will provide strategic direction, enforce architectural standards, partner with system integrators, and influence senior stakeholders to drive scalable, compliant, and highquality financial solutions. 

     

    Key Responsibilities 

    Solution Architecture & Strategy 

    • Drive and influence endtoend solution delivery across the Oracle Fusion ecosystem spanning multiple geographies and business units. 

    • Define and own the R2R (Record to Report) and A2R (Asset to Retire) templates, ensuring scalability, consistency, and alignment with enterprise finance strategy. 

    • Continuously evolve the template postimplementation to support new business requirements, regulatory needs, and Oracle product enhancements. 

    • Ensure architectural alignment across Oracle Fusion Financials and dependent upstream/downstream systems. 

    Governance & Standards 

    • Establish and enforce a strict governance model for regional template changes. 

    • Evaluate and approve regional/localization requirements to ensure compliance without unnecessary deviations from established standards. 

    • Review and approve solution designs, configurations, and key deliverables prior to deployment. 

    • Ensure adherence to Johnson Controls’ architectural, security, and compliance standards. 

    Delivery & Partner Management 

    • Execute Oracle Fusion programs in collaboration with implementation partners and internal delivery teams. 

    • Provide functional oversight across requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment phases. 

    • Lead architecture reviews and design approvals for enhancements and large initiatives. 

    • Guide onshore/offshore delivery models to ensure quality and consistency. 

    Stakeholder Engagement & Support 

    • Influence senior business and finance leaders on process optimization, data quality, and solution design decisions. 

    • Provide functional, industryspecific subject matter expertise to support requirements definition and solution architecture. 

    • Collaborate with Application Support teams to resolve escalated production issues and recurring defects. 

    • Act as an escalation point for complex RTR, A2R solutions and data integrity challenges. 

     

    Required Qualifications 

    Functional & Technical Expertise 

    • Proven experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Oracle EBusiness Suite. 

    • Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials with a primary focus on RecordtoReport (R2R), Asset to Retire (A2R) processes. 

    • Minimum of 2-3 endtoend Oracle Fusion RTR implementation experience. 

    • Expertise in Oracle Fusion functional configuration for both smallscale and enterpriselevel initiatives. 

    • Strong working knowledge of:  

    • Oracle Database and data structures 

    • Oracle BI reporting (BIP, OTBI) 

    • Application extensions and configuration frameworks 

    • BIP and OTBI report creation and migration 

    • REST and SOAP APIs 

    • Oracle OCI, VBCS, and App Composer 

    Leadership & Communication 

    • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. 

    • Strong collaboration, negotiation, and influence skills across internal teams and external partners. 

    • Ability to guide architectural decisions in a complex environment.

    Education & Certifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 

    • Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications preferred. 

     

    Preferred Skills 

    • Deep expertise in the following Oracle Fusion modules:  

    • General Ledger 

    • Fixed Assets 

    • Cash Management 

    • Strong expertise in the following Oracle Fusion Modules: 

    • Account Payables 

    • Account Receivables 

    • Prior experience with Oracle EBusiness Suite. 

    • Strong experience with:  

    • Functional application configuration 

    • Application extensions 

    • Oracle BI and reporting solutions
