    What will you do?

    Join us in the Procurement Execution Center as a Senior Procurement Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical role in enabling Category Managers and PBU Buyers to execute category strategies effectively. You will lead and optimize RFQ and sourcing processes, drive automation and data-driven decision-making, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

    With 5+ years of procurement experience, you are expected to operate with a high level of autonomy, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and potentially lead or mentor junior team members. This role also supports market dynamics analysis and provides strategic market insights to support business and sourcing decisions.

    How will you do it?

    • Lead and execute RFQ and market assessment activities by collecting, analyzing, and validating data from multiple JCI systems, including drawings, specifications, MFN/MPN, standard costs, volumes, and supplier inputs.
    • Configure, manage, and execute eRFQ / eAuction events using JCI’s preferred sourcing tools, including supplier onboarding, RFQ monitoring, proposal evaluation, and commercial comparison.
    • Analyze spend data at part-number and category levels to identify cost reduction, standardization, and simplification opportunities, while addressing data quality and integrity issues.
    • Support Market Intelligence and cost / economic analysis, preparing clear and meaningful reports for different levels of stakeholders.
    • Drive Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) activities using Ariba, ensuring contracts are accurate, up to date, and compliant.
    • Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) through supplier financial risk assessments, sustainability surveys, contract execution follow-up, and related actions.
    • Build, maintain, and continuously improve master supplier contact and information databases for APAC Procurement team.
    • Apply Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA) to resolve pricing discrepancies between contracts, ERP, POs, and invoices, improving the end-to-end P2P / PTP process.
    • Actively identify and drive process improvement and automation opportunities, using Lean / Quality methodologies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
    • Coach, support, or lead junior procurement team members where applicable, contributing to team capability building.
    • Perform other procurement-related responsibilities as required.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in Direct Materials categories such as Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechanical, or Metals.
    • Team leadership or people management experience is a strong plus.
    • Business/conversational  English language is required due to stakeholder and supplier interaction needs.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Engineering background preferred, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions such as Arrays, INDEX/MATCH, etc.); broader MS Office skills required.
    • Solid understanding of the end-to-end RFQ process, including commercial, technical, and supplier evaluation aspects.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, process standardization, and automation initiatives.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
    • Ability to quickly learn and understand the business and assigned categories, applying sound business judgment to create value.
    • Experience or knowledge in Data Analytics is preferred.
    • Technical skills such as SQL/HQL querying, Power Automate/VBA, or Python (pandas) are a plus.
    • APICS or ISM CPSM certification (or related training) is a plus.
