What you do
Be responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of complete building control systems including fire, security, and other low voltage control sub-systems (i.e. lighting, nurse call, data networks, etc.) to meet the intent of the project requirements.
Accountable to field teams for quality, timeliness and efficiency of designs.
Develops complex software programs, commissions and troubleshooting to ensure proper operations of the building control system.
Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls field installation team and subcontractors.

Required Qualifications
Object-Oriented Modeling: Developed and maintained Galaxy repositories, configuring application objects (Pumps, Tanks, Valves) and area objects to represent physical plant assets.
Device Integration: Configured OI Servers (formerly FS Servers) and OPC UA clients to facilitate communication between field devices and the Application Server.
Scripting & Automation: Implemented custom functionality using QuickScript.NET and .NET framework scripting to enhance application capabilities.
Data Management: Configured historical data collection for object attributes, alarms, and events, optimizing data throughput.
Security & Deployment: Managed galaxy security, including user-defined roles, Windows Active Directory integration, and deployment of objects across distributed nodes.
Troubleshooting: Utilized IDE diagnostics, log flag tools, and runtime alarm management to diagnose and resolve communication or scripting errors.
Preferred Qualifications
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $94,600-$130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
