Military skills are crucial and valuable for civilian life. The "no obstacle too difficult to overcome" mindset prepares us to learn new processes, software, and technology, and to explore unexpected careers. I encourage veterans to use non-profits and veteran organizations to refine resumes and showcase the many transferable and soft skills acquired during service.
