Plasma Cutter Operator
Job Purpose
Cuts and shears objects made of iron and steel, and cuts specified shapes from iron and steel plates. Capable of operating automatic or semi-automatic plasma cutting equipment, and recording data related to parts cut from raw materials. Consistently adheres to quality and delivery requirements, performs repairs as needed, and participates in internal trainings and courses.
Main tasks and responsibilities
· Cut and shear objects made of iron and steel.
· Cut shapes from iron and steel plates according to relevant documentation.
· Operate automatic or semi-automatic plasma cutting equipment (setup, parameters, operation).
· Enter and transfer data for parts cut from raw materials and record information related to finished products.
· Use measuring tools professionally and appropriately to check dimensions and ensure quality.
· Perform repairs or adjustments required for inspections or machine operation, when necessary.
· Follow and execute instructions from the production controller, team leader, or crew leader on time.
· Participate in internal trainings and apply them at work.
Requirements and qualifications
· Skilled worker or secondary-level qualification in the metal industry (experience with plasma cutting or similar machinery is an advantage).
· Experience cutting iron and steel plates, reading and interpreting such drawings, and understanding technical drawings.
· Experience operating plasma cutting equipment is advantageous but not required.
· Precise, reliable work ethic and good problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a team but also independently.
· Commitment to safe working practices and a strong sense of quality responsibility.

· Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
· Proper use of measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometer, measuring table).

Working conditions and environment
· Industrial environment with potential noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
· Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, cap/ear protection, safety shoes) as required.
