    ¿Qué harás?

    El Gerente de Materiales es responsable de la ejecución y control de las operaciones diarias de materiales para respaldar una producción ininterrumpida.

    Este puesto asegura que el material correcto esté disponible en el momento adecuado y en la cantidad correcta, impulsando la eficiencia operativa, la exactitud del inventario y la disponibilidad en línea.

    La posición tiene un fuerte enfoque en la ejecución, la resolución de problemas y el liderazgo de equipos en el piso de producción.

    ¿Cómo lo harás?

    • Ejecutar las actividades diarias de planeación y programación de materiales para respaldar los requerimientos de producción.
    • Liderar las operaciones de almacén y logística interna, que incluyen:
      • Recepción.
      • Almacenamiento.
      • Surtido (picking).
      • Abastecimiento a línea.
    • Monitorear y gestionar faltantes de material, escalaciones y planes de recuperación.
    • Coordinar estrechamente con Producción para ajustar prioridades de acuerdo con las necesidades en tiempo real.
    • Impulsar la disciplina de control de inventarios, incluyendo:
      • Conteos cíclicos.
      • Análisis de causa raíz de discrepancias.
      • Acciones correctivas.
    • Asegurar el cumplimiento del trabajo estándar, los procesos y los requerimientos de EHS en el piso de producción.
    • Identificar y eliminar desperdicios en el flujo de materiales (movimientos excesivos, retrasos, sobreinventarios).
    • Implementar y sostener herramientas Lean como:
      • Kanban.
      • FIFO.
      • 5S.
      • Gestión visual.
      • Trabajo estándar.
    • Apoyar ramp-ups de producción, cambios de ingeniería y lanzamientos de nuevos productos.
    • Dar soporte a entornos de producción que involucren:
      • Fabricación de lámina metálica.
      • Ensamble de arneses eléctricos.
    • Tomar decisiones rápidas ante interrupciones operativas.
    • Liderar eventos Kaizen enfocados en el flujo de materiales y la eficiencia del almacén.
    • Apoyar estrategias de kitting y abastecimiento en línea, adaptadas a los procesos de fabricación y ensamble de arneses.

    ¿Qué estamos buscando?

    Requisitos:

    • Licenciatura en Ingeniería Industrial, Cadena de Suministro o carrera afín.
    • Más de 5 años de experiencia en una posición como Gerente de Materiales + solida experiencia en flujo de materiales, recibo, surtimiento, creacion de rutas, kanban, etc.
    • Sólida experiencia en operaciones de piso de producción.
    • Manejo SAP modulo MM (requerido)
    • Conocimiento y experiencia en herramientas de Manufactura Esbelta (Kanban, FIFO, 5S).
    • Inglés conversacional / inglés de negocios.
    • Disponibilidad de horario
    • Sólido conocimiento de herramientas de Manufactura Esbelta.
    • Entendimiento de procesos de fabricación y producción de arneses.
