Job Description:
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sourcing strategies and supplier relationships within the sub-contracting domain. This role focuses on optimizing value and performance from the supply chain, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, and driving cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic sourcing and procurement process for sub-contracting services, ensuring alignment with JCI’s business objectives and suppliers’ capabilities and capacities.
• Develop and implement category strategies that drive supplier performance, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with legal, local regulation and company standards.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing, and innovations that will benefit the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Project Management, and Service teams, to support project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures, including compliance with corporate governance and sustainability practices.
• Lead in supplier selection and evaluation processes, ensuring a supplier base that meets quality, delivery and performance expectations. Phase out low performance suppliers with a plan to minimize any potential impact on business.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, leading continuous improvement initiatives, including job content standardization, rate card definition and framework agreement.
• Provide training and guidance to junior procurement staff on best practices and procurement processes.
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on sub-contracting and supply chain management.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPIM, CPSM) is preferred.
