What you will do

    Inside Sales Engineer is the key role reporting to Sales and Customer Service Manager – ME. The Inside Sales Engineer will be based in Dubai and support the customers by identifying their needs, offering standard, specific solutions/ equipment, and services in order maximize opportunities and their success ratio. You will support Special Hazards product, so background in Gas & Foam Suppression sales/design is a must.

    The Inside Sales Engineer will collaborate with outside sales, customer services, product management, and technical services resources to ensure proposals include technical solutions, address customer needs, adhering to Tyco’s product standards, quality standards and specifications. 

    How you will do it

    As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will be the key point of contact for clients for answering queries, providing basic technical advice and information on new product introductions and modifications. You will handle Special Hazards product inquires, follow up with the customers, build & maintain good relationships through Wholesale Distributors at all levels, coordinate new and repeat sales to ensure 100% customer satisfaction & account retention.

    • You will participate with other regional sale colleagues to share market intelligence about product opportunities that will grow sales, submits orders and confers with Customer Service Representatives, and coordinate with outside sales, demand planner for forecast orders and special pricing requests (SPR). You will prepare frequent reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing quotation information vs success ratio, and market application trends.

    You are a natural self-starter, problem solver and data/analytics driven with the ability to explain technological concepts to a non-technical audience combined with a customer-orientated attitude.

    • You will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. You will contribute to sales effectiveness by identifying short-term & long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options & courses of action and implementing directives.

    What we look for

    Required

    • Bachelor degree in electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales/estimation/design of Special Hazards products (Foam System, Gas Suppression Systems is also a plus)
    • Tireless, results driven, strong sales drive and hunter mentality
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
    • Fluent language skills in English – written, reading, spoken
