What you will do:
A Johnson Controls Fire Installation Department Supervisor is a self-motivated and driven individual with superior relationship building skills. As the branch business leader in charge of successful execution of all Installation projects. You will be responsible for the coordination of people and materials necessary for the prompt and complete installation of all Electronic Projects. You will be the business leader executing the business strategy while leading a team of professionals in the field; providing guidance and coaching to deliver to the installation business customer and company financial obligations.
How you will do it:
Field Installation Responsibilities
Installation, Servicing, Programming of Installation project equipment per design and specifications.
Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.
Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.
Tests operation of installed system to ensure proper functionally and approval from local AHJ.
Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.
Work with Project Coordinators to coordinates project installation with customers and contractors
Coach and mentor less experienced installers
Plan, schedule, supervise and control installations
Partner with sales organization to during pre-bid process to ensure accuracy of upcoming projects
Manage field resources to align with current and future project needs and customer obligations (Electrical and Sprinkler)
Revenue Responsibility - Including implementing plans, programs and processes designed to meet and exceed corporate goals and objectives of the Installation business including revenue and profitability.
Customer Satisfaction - Responsible for maintaining effective customer communications along with building solid customer relationships. Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled while quickly resolving customer complaints concerning Installation and collection issues thereby minimizing customer concerns and enhancing customer relations.
Productivity Improvement - Responsible for setting fair and effective performance measurements that will motivate technicians to achieve and/or exceed their assigned goals.
Safety Compliance - Ensure that all employees comply with corporate safety programs. Responsible to ensure that employee safety training is complete and up-to-date. Complete all accident investigation, in the office and in the field as required by the EHS policies. Complete monthly job site inspections as required by EHS policies
Technician Support - On-call services 24/7 is required to assist the answering service with customer issues and direction with routing Service Technician's, problem solving, after hours phone and field technical support is required to ensure good customer relationships. Manage daily operation of all fleet vehicles used in the Installation department. Using independent judgment, provide day-to-day direction to the work crew
What we look for:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a Business or Engineering discipline or equivalent field experience.
Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Fire Alarm installation environment.
Demonstrate supervisory/leadership abilities to include training, team building, presentation and negotiation skills, district administration and effective interaction with internal and external customers.
NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
Preferred:
7+ years’ field experience.
5 years in fire alarm audio programming.
1 year management experience
Knowledge of other low voltage systems.
Simplex 4100(ES) certified.
Simplex network certified.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,000 to $93,000(Salary to be determined by the education, experience,
knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market
data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The
