About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Adelaide-based Projects team.

This role is ideal for a project professional with a strong background in Building Automation Systems (BMS), Building Management Systems, Controls, or HVAC solutions who enjoys leading projects from inception to completion while building strong customer relationships.

You will take ownership of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable building solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned projects from initiation through to handover.

• Drive successful project outcomes by managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.

• Monitor and report on project financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and key stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.

• Manage project reviews, commissioning activities, and customer acceptance processes.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive operational efficiencies.

• Champion a culture of professionalism, accountability, and customer excellence.

• Support innovation and digital transformation initiatives across project delivery.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to connect with professionals who have experience within the Building Automation, Controls, HVAC, Smart Buildings, or Critical Infrastructure industries.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Trade qualification in Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration, or an Engineering degree.

• Proven experience managing BMS, Building Automation, Controls, HVAC, or related building services projects.

• Strong understanding of Building Automation Systems, control strategies, system architecture, and design intent.

• Experience overseeing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and project close-out activities.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets and financial performance.

• Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and project management tools.

• Experience with BIM and AutoCAD will be highly regarded.

• A continuous improvement mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
