    What you will do

    You will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs at various sites. You will provide technical expertise, manage electrical projects, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety regulations.

    How you will do it

    • Supervise and train electrical staff and apprentices, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

    • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.

    • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, including high voltage systems.

    • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and maintain accurate records of work performed.

    • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.

    • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local electrical codes and regulations.

    • Manage project timelines and budgets, providing updates to management as needed.

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications for reporting, tracking, and documentation.

    • Coordinate with other trades and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.

    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all company safety policies.

    • Rough-in and finish wiring and control systems.

    • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and control devices for various electrical devices.

    • Test repaired equipment for proper performance.

    • Instruct and coach apprentices.

    • Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques.

    • Keep records of teams licensing and keep everyone compliant.

    • Other assigned work as required

    What we look for

    Required:

    • Must possess a valid Master Electrician’s license in the state of Wyoming

    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent

    • Must possess a valid driver's license

    • Minimum of three years of verifiable experience with thorough knowledge of trades

    • Computer literacy is required - Master Builder, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook)

    • Knowledge and understanding of National Electrical code (NEC) and local code requirements

    • Ability to work independently or lead a crew under pressure

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong leadership skills and ability to train and mentor junior staff

    • Time management skills

    • Strong understanding of electrical theory, codes, and standards

    • Ability to read schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams

    • Critical eye for identifying defects

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

    • Commitment to quality and safety

    • Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job

    • Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule

    • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and occasionally perform strenuous physical labor

    • Understand the required federal and state codes for the project

    Working Conditions

    • This position involves work at a construction site where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors

    • Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines

    • Safety policies must be always adhered to.

    • It is very important that the incumbent of this position can work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely.

    • Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. safety glasses, safety boots, ear protection, etc.).

    • Regularly works near moving parts.

    • Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.

    • Noise levels can fluctuate from quiet to loud.

    • May work in tight spaces

    • Hazards associated with industry and construction sites.

    • Ability to work in various weather conditions

    • Long periods of standing and physically demanding tasks

    • Overtime may be required to meet project deadline

    • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat.
