What you will do
Join JCI during an exciting global transformation and play a key role in aligning business and IT strategies across our Fire & Security portfolio. As an IT Business Lead, you will act as a trusted partner to business leaders – shaping technology-enabled initiatives, defining future capabilities, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable value.
You will translate business needs into IT opportunities, lead regional initiatives, drive simplification of our IT landscape, and champion the use of modern technologies – AI, analytics, automation, and enterprise platforms.
This role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to guide both business and IT toward a shared vision.
How you will do it
Build strong partnerships with key business stakeholders to understand goals, capabilities, and transformation priorities.
Shape business ideas into solution options aligned with strategic roadmaps and investment plans.
Act as the primary interface between business and IT throughout delivery and solution lifecycle; drive continuous service improvement.
Explore emerging technologies and identify opportunities for AI, automation, analytics, and process optimization.
Lead regional IT initiatives, support business case development, and manage the IT portfolio for your domain.
Promote “one‑team” collaboration across IT functions and partners, enabling efficient delivery and support models.
Serve as a role model for Johnson Controls’ values and contribute to elevating the IT Business Partner function to a strategic level.
What we look for
Required
5+ years experience in Business Relationship Management or IT Business Partner roles in a matrix, international environment.
Ability to shape strategic demand and translate business needs into IT‑enabled solutions.
Experience with AI solutions, business case development, lean process analysis, and change management.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Knowledge of data analysis, business process documentation, and ERP platforms (Oracle preferred).
Proven track record of delivering complex business–IT initiatives.
Preferred
Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction industries.
Additional European languages (French preferred).
Familiarity with TOGAF, business architecture, Agile/Scrum, AI concepts, Copilot agentss and Power Platform.
Certifications such as BRMP or Chartered IT Professional.
