What you will do:
Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines.
How you will do it
Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of life safety products (and competitive brands)
Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices
Complete and archive inspection documentation via laptop
Make minor repairs and programming changes under supervision
Follow a structured inspection schedule and complete assignments on time
Read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
Always follow safety guidelines and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
Required:
5 - 10 years minimum of documented experience in sprinkler systems
RME-I License (Texas Department of Insurance requirement)
Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
Ability to read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
Skilled with hand tools and multi-meters
Physical ability to lift/move 50-70 lbs & work in challenging spaces (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, ceilings)
Flexibility to work on-call, nights, weekends, and travel as needed
Valid driver's license & acceptable driving record
Ability to pass background & drug test
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learner
Preferred:
Repair experience
Backflow Certification
NICET Level II Certification
