What you will do
Responsible for the successful lifecycle of integrated physical security projects by filling contractual requirements with Federal Government agencies. This position works closely with the Government Technologies, Johnson Controls Branch offices, Johnson Controls Business Operations, clients, and subcontractors to ensure the completion of projects while maintaining project profitability.
How You will do it
Provide the daily functional management of an assigned installation and service project (s). Provide supervision and monitoring of the service level agreement schedules and coordination of technical work from start-up, to check-out, commissioning, and final project acceptance.
Review contracts and schedule requirements; ensure coordination of procurement and delivery of materials, field office involvement, and subcontractors to meet contractual and profitability requirements.
Manages day-to-day activities including directing employees and subcontractors on assigned projects.
Maintains all records of project status, changes, material flow, and other control records as well as required reports, both internal and external. Furnish and maintain all related project correspondences, claims, punch list records, audits, project schedules, and close-out analyses for contracts.
Establish, maintain, and foster effective communications between customers, engineering, technical support, and other related on-site construction trades.
Assist sales representative in the proposal and preparation of contracts for large systems to ensure close-out profitability.
Provide Technical Services and Engineering Management with any technical feedback that may improve productivity and/or quality engineering design methods.
Ensure billing for all installation jobs and monthly services are accurate and delivered on time within the SLA
Provide weekly status reports to the customer on all open projects
What we look for
Required
Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years of project management experience preferably in the Physical Security field (preferred).
Three (3) to five (5) years of construction, electrical, electronic security, or systems integration experience (preferred).
Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV both analog and IP-based, intercom systems, and intrusion detection systems (preferred).
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with demonstrated judgment skills
Excellent customer service skills both internal and external)
Ability to organize and prioritize workload and resources for effective implementation
Must be a self-motivated and organized individual
Excellent PC skills (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation)
Demonstrated problem-solving and ability to independently carry out responsibilities under general supervision
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the Johnson Controls and customer organization
Ability to function as an effective team leader and team member
Maintain a positive working environment
Must be able to obtain US Marshall Service Public Trust Clearance
Education:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field; i.e., Electrical Engineering, Security Management, Building Construction, and or Mechanical engineering (preferred) or related experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain PMP, CSPM, PSP, CPP certification within 6 months of hire
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $73,000-101,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
