Job Title: Oracle DevOps Fusion PPM Functional Senior

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion in house Project To Close (PTC) Functional Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Project Portfolio Management Cloud (PPM) end to end processes, forecasting, costing, billing, revenue recognition and project period close processes with a very good understanding of DevOps methodologies.    

    The role involves leading cross-functional discussions at various levels with business users to analyse requirements, brainstorm, articulate solutions, and recommend industry best practices to stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for business, resolving production support incidents related to Oracle Project Portfolio Management Cloud. 
    • Analyze and resolve complex functional and technical problems within the Oracle Fusion PPM module, often requiring collaboration with technical teams. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
    • Implement DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
    • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime as part of Post go live Operational Support.
    • Stay updated with the latest Fusion technologies and DevOps tools to drive continuous improvement.
    • Oversee daily application support, implement updates, optimize configurations, and ensure the stability and data accuracy of the production environment. 
    • Create and manage Oracle Support Service Requests to address ongoing issues and ensure timely resolution.
    • Mentor junior consultants and technical staff, providing guidance and support to facilitate project completion and knowledge sharing. 
    • Manage project timelines and stakeholder expectations effectively.
    • Conduct system configurations, testing, and user training as needed.
    • Analyze Oracle Fusion Enhancements/ Change Requests and Support activities pipeline.
    • Work planning and prioritization for approved backlogs within the Value stream reviewing with BPO/GPOs, Delivery Leads and Oracle Solution Architects.
    • Coordinate with other Value stream leads within Fusion DevOps, Delivery and Support leads for other Edge applications within Fusion to address any integration issues between PPM and other values streams/integration areas on a timely manner.
    • Optimize and effectively manage Enhancements and support ticket backlog within the Value stream reviewing with the team.
    • Drive for Continuous improvements to reduce support tickets, automation eliminating manual activities wherever possible
    • Follow JCI Major Incident management process to address any critical issues (P1/P2) by engaging right teams.
    • Share Value stream level reporting with KPIs for the Value stream with Global and Regional DevOps Leaders.

    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor ‘s degree in engineering or Information Systems or equivalent.
    • 10+ years of overall experience within Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management and Oracle EBS ERPs.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with the Oracle Fusion Project Management Cloud (PPM) module, including its various components. 
    • Proven track record in PPM Functional track within Oracle Fusion ERP.
    • Expertise in Oracle Fusion functional configuration and solutions for small- and large-scale initiatives mainly within PPM, Costing and Subledger close processes.
    • Ability to communicate with technical teams as well as Business audience.
    • This position requires exceptional collaboration, teamwork, influence and relationship building skills at all levels with internal and external parties in addition to Johnson Controls key values: Integrity, teamwork, excellence, Customer focus and Accountability.
    • Proven experience in a support role, including resolving post-implementation issues and providing ongoing application maintenance. 
    • Excellent communication skills to interface with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams effectively.
    • Experience mentoring junior team members and providing leadership within delivery teams. 
    • Experience with Oracle Support processes and the creation of support service requests. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
    • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a reactive high-pressure environment.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Oracle Cloud certifications.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies.
    • Knowledge of additional Oracle modules, Bolt on solutions like IIM (Installation Invoicing Module), Forecasting and One Page view etc.
