What you will do:
Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems.
Analyzes data from commissioning tools to help improve system performance.
Start-up and perform verification of Sequence of Operation functions on servers, network supervisory controller, and system controllers for the building automation system.
Help other technicians on highly complex projects to ensure the proper commissioning process is followed.
How you will do it:
Loads system and network-level controller software.
Performs commissioning and system diagnostics from server to end devices (i.e. sensors, actuators, etc) and completes all required commissioning documentation.
Calibrates systems using basic electronic test equipment
Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation
Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation
Communicates with the project manager, JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site
Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety
What we look for:
Required
Demonstrated technical and mechanical aptitude
Able to use hand and power tools (i.e., drills, saws, etc.)
Strong computer skills required
Strong Attention to detail
Effective communication and listening skills
Preferred
Undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
Clear understanding of networks, control system databases, and system graphic creation
4 years’ experience in installing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $40.86 - $54.85 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
